## About the role

Onodrim is building Europe's largest defence and industrial platform. We acquire specialist manufacturers in critical defence and dual-use supply chains, then invest behind their growth with capital, technology and operating know-how.

As Senior Finance Manager, Controller - reporting to the Head of Finance - you will own the accounting backbone of the group. Every company we acquire has its own account set-up, policies and business model. One of your responsibilities is to turn that into one consolidated group under IFRS. Similarly for seamless compliance across the group, forecasting as well as in- and external reporting.

This is a role for a builder; it is not about maintenance. You will help set the policies, design the consolidation and reporting process and then run it as the Onodrim group grows across Europe.

You'll work closely with the Head of Finance, leadership and the finance teams of acquired companies. You will be a key part of how we integrate acquisitions and will be one of the first Finance team members building Onodrim.

## What you will do

-   **Management reporting.** Run monthly reporting across subsidiaries’ KPI’s. Analyse results against budget and prior periods, explain variances and identify issues pro-actively.
-   **IFRS consolidation.** Own a growing group consolidation end-to-end: intercompany accounting, FX, PPA and improve or design underlying processes.
-   **Integrate acquisitions.** Drive financial post-merger integration: opening balance sheet, close, controls and reporting. Support financial due diligence on closing deals.
-   **Strengthen systems and controls.** Help shape the group's finance systems and tooling, and put in place controls for a growing, highly acquisitive group.
-   **Set accounting policies.** Write and maintain group accounting policies under IFRS, and bring subsidiaries reporting consistently under local GAAP.
-   **Support operating teams.** Be a finance partner for subsidiary MDs and our operations teams as regard cost analysis, working capital and capex.
-   **Forecasting.** You support rolling (cash) forecasting models and own scenario analysis.
-   **Month-end close.** Design a fast, reliable state-of-the-art month/year-end close process.
-   **Compliance.** Own (tax) compliance with external advisors, bank (covenant) reporting and support the treasury processes.
-   **Own the audit.** Main point of contact for group and statutory auditors and prepare audit-ready IFRS group FS. Design a single group chart of accounts mapped to each subsidiary.
-   **Grow the team.** Build and lead the group accounting function as Onodrim scales.

## Requirements

## What you bring

-   8–10 years' experience in accounting and financial / business control, including time in a Big Four or similar audit firm.
-   A professional accounting qualification – RA, RC, ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
-   Track record of integrating acquired businesses: harmonising policies, merging charts of accounts and bringing new entities into group reporting.
-   Deep, hands-on IFRS knowledge, including consolidation of multi-entity, multi-currency ledgers.
-   Experience scaling finance processes through international growth.
-   Strong analytical skills: you go beyond producing the numbers to explaining what drives them.
-   Clear, direct communication in English, written and spoken, with the ability to explain accounting to non-financials.
-   A hands-on approach: comfortable building processes from scratch and doing the detailed work yourself.
-   Right to work in the Netherlands or the EU.

## Nice to have

-   We operate our business in English, but Dutch, German, French or Italian is a plus.
-   Experience in manufacturing, industrials or defence, including inventory and product costing.
-   Experience in a private-equity-backed or M&A oriented group.
-   Hands-on experience implementing or consolidation ERP systems.
