## Description

As a qualified Emergency Medical Technician(EMT) you will provide compassionate, professional and high-quality patient care whilst responding to both emergency and non-emergency patient transport situations.

To provide the best quality care to our patients and uphold our high standards, you will operate within Company scope of practice as well as have the ability to recognise any potential safeguarding issues and report accordingly. You will ensure that your vehicle and equipment is consistently maintained to an excellent standard. You will also help mentor and act as the clinical lead for lower skilled grades, and newer staff, as required.

A skilled Emergency Medical Technician(EMT) ready to deliver patient care and rapid transport service in hospital setting across UAE, balancing clinical excellence with calm decision-making working collaboratively with professionals.

You will assess, treat and transport diverse group of patients while following Clinical Guidance , and organisational direction to meet performance expectation. Participates in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program development and planning, implementation, evaluation, and related projects. Have good communication skills and willingness to work with diverse group of people.

Required to support other services within the hospital such as Emergency Department when required while waiting for patient transfer activation .

2\. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care and pre-hospital treatment across UAE while upholding medical protocols

• Provide patient care within scope of practice as well as can recognise any potential safeguarding issues and report accordingly.

• Respond promptly emergency transfer calls within agreed KPI response times.

• Assess patient conditions, administer essential first aid , and safely transport patients to healthcare facilities.

• Conducting ambulance and equipment checks daily in preparedness for safe patient transfer.

• Report all defects and damage in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

• Accurately complete all documentation relating to patients, vehicles and equipment in accordance with Company Policy and submit within required timeframes to management office.

• Maintain accurate mandatory ambulance checklist and patient records in compliance with DCAS and organisational requirements.

Support management to prepare for DCAS inspections .

• Stay current with advancements in EMS practices, technologies, and educational techniques through ongoing professional development.

• Maintain required certifications and licensure as an EMT.

• Participate as directed by management in marketing events, and projects.

• Fostering a culture of professionalism, empathy, and safe patient care service

• Collaborate with professionals across hospital facilities to improve quality of service delivery and address challenges.

• Participate when required in meetings, committees, and other Department activities

• Contribute to accreditation processes, and ambulance service delivery reports

• Know the departmental policies involved in reporting, repairing, maintaining equipment and see that these policies are carried through.

• Implement all cleaning and disinfection related policies and procedures for all educational equipment and materials.

• Whilst your primary role remains an EMT, you may also be required to work across other areas of the business, in line with operational needs.

## Requirements

EMT Certificate with a 2 years minimum work experience.

• AHA Basic Life Support Instructor Certification (BLS).

• AHA Advanced Cardiac Instructor Certification (ACLS).

• AHA Paediatric Course Instructor (PALS).

• Current Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor Course Certification (PHTLS). (optional)

• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and provide effective patient care service.

• Must possess basic computer skills to include, but not limited to, word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.

• Must possess excellent organizational skills, clear communication and ability to work under pressure .

Working Hours

Your normal working hours will be twelve (12) hours per day, 48hrs per week, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the UAE Labour Law. You will be compensated accordingly in the event your working hours exceed the normal 48 hours per week. You may be required to cover on call duties as per business need.
