# Recruitment Consultant

## Description

Optimal, on behalf of its client, is seeking a **Recruitment Consultant**.

**Main Responsibilities:**

-   Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and shift-based roles
-   Directly search and source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, internet ads, social media, employee referrals, networking and database searches, with a focus on high-volume hiring
-   Screen CVs and conduct initial phone screenings, assessing candidates’ availability for shift work, relevant licenses or certifications, and hands-on experience
-   Work closely with operations and site managers to understand staffing needs
-   Organize interviews, practical assessments and on-site meetings
-   Administer the candidate database, keeping CVs and records up to date and building talent pools for recurring roles
-   Use best practices and systems to improve the speed and quality of recruiting  
    

**Requirements:**

-   Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Business Administration, Management or Human Resources
-   Previous experience recruiting in a high-volume environment
-   Continuous learning and development mentality, as the scope of this role will likely shift over time as recruiting demands grow
-   Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, high attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and carry them out independently
-   Strong client service orientation
-   Aptitude for communicating effectively and efficiently with candidates of diverse backgrounds and with hiring managers
