## Description

**Optimal**, on behalf of its client **Enerwave**, member of HELLENiQ ENERGY and a leader in providing outstanding and innovative energy solutions, is seeking a **Strategic Planning Officer**.

The **Strategic Planning Officer** will contribute to the effective execution of the company's strategy by conducting market analysis and competition benchmarking, identifying trends and opportunities that inform strategic decision-making.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Support the development and periodic update of the company’s long‑term strategy, including scenario planning and market analysis.
-   Support the annual business planning process through market research, data analysis and consolidation of data input from Business Units.
-   Monitor market and technological developments, conduct competition benchmarking.
-   Monitor the Business Plan KPIs and perform periodic reporting.
-   Support transformation PMO activities by coordinating cross‑functional efforts, tracking project milestones, and ensuring timely execution of strategic initiatives.
-   Support development and update of the ESG strategy, integrating material topics and shareholder vision/expectations.
-   Maintain structured documentation on Business Plan metrics/data.
-   Prepare presentations and corporate communication material.

**Requirements**

-   A BSc in Engineering or Economics.
-   Energy-related post-graduate degree or MBA is considered an asset.
-   4+ years of experience in market analysis, business planning processes, KPI monitoring, competition benchmarking, and preparation of performance reports, gained either in-house or through a strategy consulting background.
-   Proficiency in the English language.
-   Proficiency in MS Office, Data analysis tools, Power BI.
-   Analytical mindset with the ability to assess strategic and business developments within the energy industry.
-   Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners.
-   Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
-   Attention to detail.
-   Teamwork and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
-   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-   A continuous learning mindset.
