Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Airside Waste Collector Drivers to join a well-respected and successful client at Bristol Airport. **PLEASE NOTE: A Full UK Manual driving licence is required for this role, with no more than three points.**

  
**What's on offer:**

-   Rate of pay: £13.00 once successful completion of training there will be £2.50 increase **per shift**

**Key Duties:**

-   Consistently deliver the highest level of customer service to cabin crew and airline staff.
-   Collect waste and recycling directly from aircraft, ensuring prompt and efficient removal.
-   Carry out ad hoc cleaning tasks to support operational needs.
-   Correctly segregate waste and cleaning materials in line with recycling and environmental guidelines.
-   Ensure strict compliance with both airline and airport policies and procedures.
-   Maintain a safe, clean, and secure working environment at all times.
-   Report any safety concerns, hazards, or irregularities immediately.
-   **Important:** This is a physically demanding role that includes extensive manual tasks such as bending, lifting, walking, and working in tight spaces.

**Roster examples:**

The airport is operational 365 days a year, 7 days a week so full flexibility is required.

-   4 on 4 off

-   **Day 1:** 0645-1845
-   **Day 2:** 0645-1845
-   **Day 3:** 0645-1845
-   **Day 4:** 0645-1845

Must be flexible to accommodate the shift pattern.

  
**Rate of Pay:**

£13.00 per hour and once successful completed training, there will be an additional £2.50 **per shift** increase.

**Requirements:**

-   A Full UK Manual driving licence, with no more than three points endorsed, maintaining regular reports for inspection.
-   Experience driving a large vehicle is essential.
-   Must be able to demonstrate proficiency of both written and spoken English.
-   Must be able to pass and maintain an Airside Pass and airside driving Permit, including competency checks where necessary. This will require a full 5-year work history, the right to work in the UK and a DBS check.
-   A positive pro-active “can do” attitude.
-   Good attention to detail.
-   Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
