## Description

Optime Group in partnership with a well-known Logistics Company located at Stansted Airport are looking to add to its growing team of Retail Stock Assistants serving one of the UK's fastest growing airports.

**What's on offer**

-   Location: Stansted Airport
-   Rate of pay: £13.81 per hour
-   Shift Pattern: Thursday to Sunday (You must be flexible with the days you can work)
-   Shift times: 21:00pm to 06:00am (May be subject to change)
-   36 hours per week.
-   Weekly Pay
-   Temp to Perm (performance-based)

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and be capable of carrying out regular manual handling duties, including heavy lifting.

While the primary focus of the position is stock handling and replenishment, candidates will be working on the shop floor alongside customers and should be comfortable in a busy retail environment.

**Responsibilities**

-   Receiving and processing delivery cages into the store
-   Unloading, moving, and organising stock deliveries
-   Replenishing shelves and maintaining stock levels throughout the store
-   Ensuring products are displayed correctly and presented to company standards
-   Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised shop floor and stockroom
-   Following health and safety procedures at all times
-   Working efficiently within a customer-facing retail environment
-   Supporting the wider store team with operational tasks as required

**Requirements:**

In addition the above we would prefer the applicant to possess some or nearly all of the below attributes:

-   Previous retail, warehouse, stock replenishment, or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
-   Ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting duties
-   Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
-   Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
-   Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
-   Good communication skills
-   Flexible approach to working hours and shifts
