## Description

We're recruiting for a Human Resources Advisor to join a successful and highly respected organisation with a large, geographically dispersed workforce. This is an exciting opportunity to become a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing expert guidance across a broad range of HR and Employee Relations matters.

**The Opportunity**

As Human Resources Advisor, you'll be at the heart of the people function, providing practical, commercially focused HR support across the business. Working closely with managers and stakeholders, you'll help create positive employee experiences while ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently and effectively.

This is a varied role offering exposure to a wide range of HR activities, from Employee Relations and absence management through to systems, reporting, and people initiatives.

**Key Details:**

-   Salary of £35,000 - £37,000
-   Working hours: Monday to Friday - 08:45 am to 17:30 pm
-   Office-based in Horsham with occasional travel to other business locations as required.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries
-   Provide guidance and support on Employee Relations matters including disciplinary, grievance and capability issues
-   Support and monitor sickness absence cases, helping managers achieve positive outcomes
-   Conduct exit interviews and employee health-related conversations
-   Assist with HR systems administration, reporting and data analysis
-   Support the delivery of people-focused communications and engagement initiatives
-   Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
-   Support investigations and prepare documentation relating to Employee Relations cases
-   Produce HR reports and management information to support decision making
-   Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple locations

**About You:**

We're looking for a proactive and confident HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent people support.

Essential Requirements:

-   Previous experience working in an HR Advisor role
-   CIPD Level 5 qualification
-   Strong Employee Relations experience
-   Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-   Confident handling sensitive and confidential information
-   Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
-   Comfortable using HR systems and producing reports
-   A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Desirable:

-   Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce
-   Full UK driving licence
-   Experience using HRIS platforms and people analytics
