# SMT Assembly Technician

## Description

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting and processing surface mount (SMT) electronic sub-assemblies using robotic machines.

**What you’ll do:**

-   Tend machines by quickly and efficiently loading/replenishing feeders with reels of components, entering programs into automated placement machinery, setting up support fixtures, and prepping
-   Position, align, and hand-place components on PCBs when required.
-   Collect quality data which is essential for continuous improvement and tracking of factory deliverables
-   Understand and execute tasks efficiently and accurately.
-   Problem solve and troubleshoot issues.
-   Responsible for timely maintenance of the machine according to maintenance schedule.
-   Inspect and log failed units
-   Operate automated optical inspection machine as needed.

## Requirements

**What you'll bring:**

-   Preferred 2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment.

**Physical Requirements: (daily)**

-   Ability to lift 10 lbs daily, 50 lbs weekly 
-   Ability to  bend , stand, walk and/or sit for majority of 8 hour shift
