**Responsibilities**

-   Monitor, optimize, and maintain the performance, availability, and security of enterprise database environments.
-   Review T-SQL code before production deployments and identify performance or security improvement opportunities.
-   Troubleshoot database-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
-   Collaborate with software development teams to improve database design, query performance, and overall application efficiency.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field**
-   **Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator, SQL Server Database Engineer, or Database Performance Specialist**
-   Strong hands-on experience with **Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or later versions)**
-   Advanced knowledge of **T-SQL development, query optimization, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and execution plan analysis**
-   Proven experience in **database performance tuning, troubleshooting, indexing strategies, and performance optimization**
-   Strong understanding of **database security, auditing, and best practices**
-   Experience reviewing **database objects and SQL code before production deployments**
-   Experience identifying and resolving **database performance bottlenecks and production issues**
-   Strong knowledge of **Microsoft SQL Server**, **PostgreSQL**, and **MongoDB**
-   Experience working closely with **software development teams** to improve database performance and application efficiency
-   Strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills
-   Ability to investigate root causes and recommend performance improvements
-   Good English communication skills (reading technical documentation, participating in technical meetings, and delivering presentations when required)
