## Description

Orfium is a fast-growing music technology company representing some of the biggest music companies in the world and we are looking for talented, hardworking people to join our team.

The Head of Legal is responsible for managing and overseeing all legal matters relating to the company, including corporate governance, human resources, and commercial matters.

## Requirements

● Lead, direct, and oversee all legal matters relating to the company

● Collaborate with the business team on commercial endeavours

● Oversee and manage all corporate governance matters, including:

-   Board of Directors matters
-   Internal governance policies and procedures
-   Legal compliance and statutory filings for the company in both the U.S. and
-   foreign markets (UK, Ireland, Greece, Japan, and Bulgaria)
-   Company’s employee equity incentive plan

● Manage external counsel regarding their assignments.

● Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

● 7+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with an established law firm or company

preferred.

● Experience in working with international organisations

● Experience with US corporate governance issues and corporate secretarial duties

● Experience in high growth and technology companies preferred

● Knowledge of statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to businesses.

● Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.

● Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

● Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

● Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills; extremely detail-oriented.
