**WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

We are looking for a **Tax and Finance Specialist** to join our **Finance Team in Spain.**

This is an end-to-end tax role within a complex multi-entity structure, combining hands-on execution, exposure to audits, and active support to investment teams through practical and forward-looking tax analysis. The role requires close collaboration with finance and investment teams, ensuring tax compliance, supporting audits, and providing tax insights to support business and investment decisions.

**SOME OF THE INTERESTING CHALLENGES AHEAD OF YOU**

-   Execute and oversee tax compliance (VAT, CIT, local taxes) across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
-   Manage tax calculations, reconciliations and alignment between accounting and tax positions during monthly and yearly closings.
-   Actively participate in audits, providing explanations, supporting documentation and anticipating potential adjustments.
-   Partner with Investment and Development teams to analyze investment scenarios from a SOCIMI tax perspective (asset deals, share deals, structuring alternatives).
-   Secure a well-functioning cooperation with the Asset Mgmt and Property Mgmt peers. (e.g.: CAPEX tracker, OPEX reconciliation, SC continuous follow up, POs monitoring...) adding value through proactive support and process improvement.
-   Assess tax implications of new projects, acquisitions and divestments, identifying risks, opportunities and constraints early in the process.
-   Support decision-making by modelling and explaining tax impacts on returns, cash flows and structuring options.
-   Analyze non-standard transactions and ensure proper tax treatment aligned with business reality.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE**

-   Strong tax knowledge combined with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in compliance, closings and audits.
-   Ability to manage high-volume, multi-entity environments with rigor and ownership.
-   Strong analytical skills to identify non-standard situations and assess tax impact.
-   Business partnering mindset, working closely with investment teams and translating tax into decision-making inputs.
-   Accountability and ownership of topics end-to-end, while working collaboratively across teams.
-   Clear and practical communication skills.
-   Interest in improving processes and leveraging technology to increase efficiency (automation, data tools, AI).
-   Strong collaborator and team spirit. 
-   Strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions and multitask.
-   Ability to communicate in a clear, straight forward manner, both in local language and English.
-   MS Office proficiency.
