## Description

**About the role**

Our client is looking for a highly hands-on **Head of Operations** to turn the founders’ vision into a scalable operating system. This person will own the company’s operating cadence, OKRs, physical operations, Shopify infrastructure, financial visibility, and cross-functional execution.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Build and run the company-wide operating cadence, ensuring teams stay aligned and accountable.
-   Set and manage OKRs and scorecards with the founders, driving consistent follow-through.
-   Own inventory, forecasting, POs, freight, customs, 3PLs, landed costs, and in-stock levels across US and EU operations.
-   Own the Shopify ecosystem, including apps, inventory sync, checkout, integrations, and 3PL connections.
-   Oversee cash, working capital, inventory, unit economics, and operational costs.
-   Coordinate vendors, payments, legal/compliance, and other operational functions.
-   Hire, manage, and develop managers while addressing departmental bottlenecks.
-   Partner closely with founders to turn strategy into consistent execution.

## Requirements

-   Experience operating within an 8–9 figure DTC/ecommerce business selling physical products.
-   Proven experience building and running an operating cadence and making OKRs/scorecards stick.
-   Strong expertise in inventory, forecasting, freight, 3PLs, customs, and landed costs.
-   Strong financial and business acumen, including cash flow, working capital, and unit economics.
-   Experience owning or closely managing Shopify as an operating system.
-   Proven ability to hire, develop, and hold managers accountable.
-   Highly proactive, hands-on, and comfortable operating independently.
-   Interest in sports, toys, or games is a plus.
-   Must overlap with UK mornings and be available during US operations hours several times per week.
