As Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, build, and operate on‑premises and private cloud environments with a strong focus on Kubernetes‑based platforms, reliability engineering, and production operations.

This leadership role requires deep expertise in Kubernetes cluster design, monitoring, automation, and infrastructure reliability. You will guide engineering teams, define platform roadmaps, and ensure highly available, scalable, and secure environments that enable mission‑critical applications to run seamlessly across data centers.

## Requirements

**What you’ll own**

·  Architect, deploy, and manage on‑premises and private cloud environments supporting mission‑critical applications.

·  Build, upgrade, and maintain highly available production‑grade Kubernetes clusters with full lifecycle management.

·  Implement IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and automation to standardize and streamline infrastructure processes.

·  Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting practices with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, ensuring proactive issue detection.

·  Drive reliability engineering through SLAs, SLOs, incident response, and root cause analysis for critical production issues.

·  Implement Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC, network policies, secrets management) and enforce compliance standards.

·  Mentor engineers, collaborate across teams, and define platform roadmaps to continuously improve operational maturity.

·  Highly available, secure, and scalable systems consistently support mission‑critical workloads.

·  Clusters operate reliably with seamless lifecycle management and minimal downtime.

·  Observability tools detect and resolve performance bottlenecks before they impact operations.

·  Automated processes reduce manual intervention, driving consistency and operational speed.

·  Incident response and disaster recovery strategies ensure business continuity with minimal disruption.

**You may be a strong fit if you**

·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

·  6–8 years in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or System Administration.

·  Strong background in Kubernetes platform operations and cluster management.

·  Skilled in virtualization (VMware vSphere, OpenStack), bare metal provisioning, and storage systems (SAN/NAS/Ceph).

·  Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Shell/Python) with an automation‑first approach.

·  Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog) and building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
