**What is Lead Game Publishing?**

JazzWorld GameNow has launched its Game Publishing vertical with local studio partnerships already in place. We are now building the team to own and scale this business.

We are looking for one exceptional individual who has done this before, someone who has taken mobile games from concept to global markets, achieved positive ROAS at scale, and knows every tool, every platform, and every metric in the publishing ecosystem. You will own this vertical top to bottom, build its systems from scratch, and deliver results that are visible.  

**What does a Lead Game Publishing do ?**

The Manager / Lead Game Publishing is a senior, hands-on role responsible for building, operating, and scaling Jazz GameNow's game publishing business from the ground up across both mobile and web. This person is a one-man army equally comfortable doing deep game research, running global UA campaigns, optimizing ROAS, managing studio partners, scaling HTML5 games on web platforms, and presenting publishing P&L to leadership.

The scope spans two dimensions: (1) mobile game publishing on iOS and Android with global UA, and (2) web-based HTML5 game publishing on global web platforms while simultaneously building GameNow's own web platform as a competitor in this space. If you have built and scaled games at this level across mobile and web, we want to talk.

 **.  Game Research & Portfolio Strategy**

•      Conduct deep market research to identify the right game genres, mechanics, and monetization models for global publishing  with focus on Casual, Hyper-Casual, Hybrid-Casual, and Midcore mobile games

•      Benchmark top-performing titles on iOS and Android globally using Sensor Tower, data.ai, GameAnalytics, and similar tools

•      Define GameNow's publishing thesis: which games to publish, in which markets, with which monetization model

•      Continuously track global gaming trends, competitor moves, and emerging game categories to keep the portfolio ahead of the curve

•      Evaluate incoming game pitches and studio demos against commercial viability criteria, genre fit, ROAS potential, team capability, and production readiness

**2.  Game Development Oversight & Studio Management**

•      Act as the primary point of contact for all partner studios

•      Guide studios through the full development lifecycle: concept validation, prototype review, core loop testing, soft launch, and global rollout.

•      Define and enforce game quality standards, performance benchmarks, and milestone-based delivery frameworks

•      Provide hands-on creative and technical feedback on gameplay, UI/UX, monetization design, and retention mechanics

•      Identify capability gaps in partner studios and recommend solutions — whether additional resources, tool adoption, or process changes

•      Proactively source and qualify new studio partnerships to expand the publishing pipeline.  
**3.  Global User Acquisition (UA) Strategy & Execution**

•      Own end-to-end UA strategy across all key global markets  with primary focus on US, UAE, UK, Saudi Arabia, and Tier-1 markets

•      Plan, execute, and optimize UA campaigns across all major performance marketing platforms:

•      Manage UA budgets with rigorous discipline, daily pacing, bid adjustments, creative rotation, and spend efficiency

•      Build and maintain creative testing frameworks: ad concept → script → production → A/B test → scale or kill

•      Deliver minimum 130% ROAS across the publishing portfolio as the primary commercial target

**4.  Game Scaling, Optimization & Monetization**

•      Define and execute post-launch scaling strategy for all published titles based on soft-launch KPIs

•      Optimize in-game monetization, ad placement strategy, IAP pricing, offer design, and LTV maximization

•      Run CPI optimization cycles: creative refresh, audience expansion, geo-targeting, and bid strategy tuning

•      Monitor and improve core retention and engagement metrics: D1, D7, D30 retention, session length, DAU/MAU

•      Manage ASO (App Store Optimization) for all published titles on Google Play and Apple App Store — metadata, creatives, ratings management

•      Identify and act on monetization uplift opportunities: rewarded ads, interstitials, banners, IAP bundles, season passes

•      Run game economy balancing exercises where relevant for hybrid-casual and midcore titles

**5.  Analytics, Reporting & Publishing P&L**

•      Own the publishing vertical's daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting across all games and markets

•      Build and maintain dashboards tracking: CPI, ROAS, LTV, retention, revenue by stream, UA spend, and studio milestone progress

•      Operate and extract insights from key publishing tools:

•      Prepare and present publishing P&L, ROAS performance, and strategic updates to leadership

•      Flag risks proactively, budget burn without ROAS, underperforming titles, studio delays with a clear mitigation plan

**6.  Studio Scouting & Business Development**

•      Actively identify and evaluate new game studios in Pakistan and the broader region for publishing partnerships

•      Build and manage a structured studio pipeline: outreach → evaluation → NDA → term sheet → partnership onboarding

•      Assess studios on team quality, past titles, genre expertise, scalability, and alignment with GameNow's publishing strategy

•      Support commercial deal structuring for publishing agreements, revenue share, milestone payments, IP rights, exclusivity terms.  
**7.  Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis  
**•      Maintain a live intelligence view of the global mobile gaming market — top charts, genre trends, ad creative trends, monetization innovations

•      Benchmark GameNow's published titles against category leaders using Sensor Tower, data.ai, SocialPeta, and similar tools

•      Identify whitespace opportunities: genres with high CPI efficiency, markets with low competition, monetization formats gaining traction

**8\. Global Web Platform**

This is a critical and fast-growing dimension of the role. GameNow operates a web platform and has the ambition to scale it as a direct competitor to global web gaming portals. This person must understand web game publishing as deeply as mobile.

•      Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality HTML5 / web-based games from local and global studios suitable for publishing on global web platforms

•      Understand the business models, submission requirements, revenue share structures, and quality standards and use these as benchmarks for GameNow's own web platform

•      Define a web game portfolio strategy: which game genres perform best on browser platforms (Casual, Puzzle, .io games, Action, Sports, Arcade) and why with data to back it

•      Develop and execute a growth strategy for GameNow's web platform to increase monthly active users, session time, and ad revenue

•      Ensure HTML5 games meet web performance standards, load time, device compatibility (desktop & mobile browser), resolution responsiveness, and cross-browser rendering

•      Manage the game submission, QA, and go-live pipeline for web titles setting quality gates and publishing SLAs for partner studios

•      Identify global web game studios and developers (indie and mid-size) who are actively publishing and pitch GameNow as a distribution partner

Track and report web platform performance weekly — traffic, engagement, monetization, top game

## Requirements

•      Minimum 5 years of hands-on, end-to-end game publishing experience — not publishing support, not marketing only, but full ownership of the publishing lifecycle

•      Must have worked at or directly with a recognized Pakistani or international game studio or publisher

•      Proven track record of scaling mobile games globally with measurable ROAS, retention, and revenue outcomes you can reference and defend

•      Deep expertise in Casual, Hyper-Casual, Hybrid-Casual, and Midcore mobile game genres

•      Understanding of web game monetization models, display ads, video ads, eCPM optimization, and how browser-based game platforms generate revenue at scale

•      Demonstrated ability to run UA campaigns independently across Meta, Google, TikTok, AppLovin, and Mintegral from setup to optimization to scaling

•      Experience working with studios as a publishing partner  giving creative direction, managing deliverables and holding studios accountable to quality and timeline

**Education**

•      Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Game Design, Marketing, or a related field

•      Equivalent practical experience considered if the publishing track record is strong
