**What is Expert Payroll & Benefits?**

The Expert Payroll & Benefits is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, employee benefits administration, HR operations support, data governance, compliance, reporting, and process automation initiatives. The role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional employee experience by ensuring seamless execution of payroll, employee lifecycle transactions, benefits administration, statutory compliance, and HR operational excellence.

The role reports directly to the Manager Payroll & Benefits and has no direct reports.

**What does Expert Payroll & Benefits do?**

Key Responsibilities

·       Execute monthly payroll processing activities while ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established payroll controls and SOPs.

·       Manage payroll inputs including employee movements, allowances, deductions, benefits, recoveries, and other compensation-related transactions.

·       Administer employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, job changes, promotions, transfers, relocations, contract management, retirements, and employee separations.

·       Ensure timely processing and system updates for employee records across HR platforms and systems.

·       Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs including provident fund, health insurance, life insurance, OPD, salary advances, and other company-sponsored benefits.

·       Manage dependent enrollment and deletion activities while maintaining accurate records with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

·       Ensure timely preparation, validation, and distribution of employee letters, contracts, and HR documentation.

·       Maintain employee records and support personnel file management in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

·       Perform regular HR data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to ensure integrity of employee and compensation data.

·       Coordinate with Finance, HR Business Partners, external vendors, auditors, and service providers on payroll and benefits-related matters.

·       Support annual compensation and benefits activities including salary review exercises, performance bonus administration, provident fund profit declarations, and related initiatives.

·       Monitor and track service levels, employee queries, and operational performance metrics to ensure high-quality service delivery.

·       Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.

·       Support system enhancement projects, HRIS integrations, testing activities, and digital transformation initiatives related to payroll and employee administration.

·       Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, statutory obligations, and established governance frameworks.

·       Prepare management reports, dashboards, reconciliations, and operational updates for key stakeholders.

## Requirements

**What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Payroll & Benefits?**

**Experience and Educational Requirements**

·       Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

·       2–4 years of relevant experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Administration.

·       Experience working with HRIS, payroll systems, and employee data management platforms.

·       Exposure to payroll processing, employee benefits administration, and HR operational processes.

·       Experience in stakeholder and vendor management will be preferred.
