## Description

This position is being recruited by Pakistan Single Window (PSW) on behalf of the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority (NAFSA). NAFSA is being established as a strategic national initiative to strengthen Pakistan’s agri-trade ecosystem through enhanced regulatory oversight, facilitation, and modernization of food safety and trade processes. The Main Responsibilities

-   Conduct pesticide formulation, residue, and quality analysis in accordance with validated analytical methods and laboratory SOPs.
    
-   Apply QA/QC procedures, maintain analytical records, and ensure traceability of results and sample chain of custody.
    
-   Prepare analytical results, laboratory reports, and supporting documentation for regulatory use and enforcement support.
    
-   Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, calibration records, and safety protocols.
    
-   Support sample management, testing schedules, and timely reporting to operational and registration units.
    
-   Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting officer in support of NAFSA’s mandate.

## Requirements

### **Education:**

\- M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Analytical) (Minimum sixteen years of education) OR B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agricultural Chemistry (sixteen–eighteen years) or equivalent.

Experience

-   Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in pesticide analysis, residue testing, or laboratory QA/QC.
    
-   Working knowledge of validated analytical methods and laboratory documentation standards.
    
-   Strong attention to detail and integrity.
