**Location:** Franksville, WI

### Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced **Production Painter** to join our team. Production Painters are responsible for the application of paint and finishing processes on cosmetic motorcycle parts and a variety of small components.

The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality cosmetic finishes, works well in a collaborative production environment, and is committed to learning and developing new skills and techniques. This role works closely with the **Paint Shop Manager, Production Manager, and Operations Manager** to ensure painting processes meet specifications, quality standards, and production goals.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Apply primer, sealer, color, mid-coats, and clearcoats according to specifications.
-   Ensure final painted parts meet standards for color accuracy, appearance, and finish quality.
-   Install and remove paint masks and stencils, including fine-line masking.
-   Apply waterslide and vinyl decals.
-   Prepare parts for painting, including cleaning and other ancillary operations.
-   Load and unload parts throughout the production process.
-   Perform prep, bodywork, washing, buffing, and other finishing operations as needed.
-   Identify and report substandard quality and serve as a quality gate within production.
-   Maintain paint equipment, tools, and the work environment.
-   Monitor and report paint material inventory levels.
-   Complete required production tracking and quality documentation.
-   Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, PPE, organization, 5S, quality, and delivery.
-   Contribute to daily production goals through efficient and consistent process execution.

## Requirements

-   **Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience**, including experience with primer, sealer, color, mid-coats, and clearcoats.
-   High school diploma or equivalent.
-   Strong technical knowledge of painting application processes and best practices.
-   Experience with ancillary paint operations such as prep, bodywork, washing, and buffing is preferred.
-   Strong attention to detail and commitment to cosmetic quality.
-   Ability to follow detailed processes and specifications consistently.
-   Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
-   Willingness and desire to learn new skills, processes, and application methods.
-   Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
