## Description

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with an electronics manufacturing company in Lancaster, NY, is seeking a qualified Electronics Assembler/Inspector to join their growing team. This is a temp-to-long term position with room for growth.

Shift: 1st Shift ( M-F)

Pay Rate: $18 to $21 an hour

**Responsibilities:**

-   Assemble various electronic products including but not limited to **printed circuit boards** and wire cables. 
-   Use tools to make or repair parts and products.
-   Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
-   Work under microscope or maglight
-   Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
-   Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
-   Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
-   Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
-   Must have experience hand soldering SMT and Through hole components

## Requirements

-   Must be able to read component values, bills of materials, work procedures and drawings. 
-   **Must have experience soldering.**
-   Must have experience.
-   Knowledge of or certification of IPC standards a plus but not required
-   Will at times work under magnification.
-   Experience in electronic assembly and/or inspection
