## Description

About Parisi Labs

Parisi Labs is an AI company building learning systems for complex physical environments. We combine historical and live data with real operational context to help people understand the present, evaluate possible futures, and make better decisions.

Energy is our first proving ground. Ask The Grid (https://askthegrid.com) is our public product for exploring the systems, markets, and assets that make up the power grid. We are a small technical team working across machine learning, data infrastructure, software, and real-world operations.

About The Role

We are looking for an Energy Product & Market Development Lead to make Ask The Grid indispensable to the people operating energy assets and turn strong product interest into sustained commercial use.

Our first focus is battery-storage owner-operators. You will learn how their teams make decisions, where current tools fall short, and what Parisi should build or deliver to become part of their daily workflow. You will also develop the relationships and commercial path that move a promising conversation beyond “that is interesting” to a real commitment.

This is not a conventional account-executive role, and it is not a product-management role detached from customers. It combines energy-market fluency, product judgment, relationship building, and commercial execution.

What You Will Own

\- Develop deep relationships with battery-storage owners, operators, and commercial leaders.

\- Run structured discovery and turn operator workflows into clear product opportunities and technical priorities.

\- Use Ask The Grid with prospective customers and identify what would make it part of their daily work.

\- Build the priority account map and create credible warm paths into the storage-operator market.

\- Shape early commercial engagements, including the problem, stakeholders, success criteria, and next commitment.

\- Translate market and customer context for product, data, machine-learning, and engineering teammates.

\- Distinguish durable market demand from one-off requests and help set product priorities accordingly.

\- Build a repeatable product-and-market learning process without prematurely imposing a mature sales playbook.

First 90 Days

\- 30 days: Learn Ask The Grid deeply and produce a focused map of storage operators, decision makers, product workflows, and warm paths.

\- 60 days: Run structured discovery with priority operators and convert the strongest patterns into clear product and commercial proposals.

\- 90 days: Establish a repeatable path from first conversation to meaningful product use and a committed next step.

## Requirements

You May Be A Fit If

\- You understand wholesale power markets and how physical energy assets are operated and commercialized.

\- You have enough product judgment to turn customer conversations into useful priorities, not a collection of feature requests.

\- You can build trusted relationships with operators while working credibly with engineers and ML researchers.

\- You know how to move a technical buyer from curiosity to a concrete commitment without relying on generic sales tactics.

\- You communicate precisely and can separate what a customer said from what the company should build.

\- You are comfortable creating the process while also doing the work yourself.

Helpful Background

\- Product management, market development, commercial strategy, trading research, operations, or customer-facing technical work in energy.

\- Experience with battery storage, physical power trading, asset optimization, wholesale markets, or ISO/RTO operations.

\- Experience shaping or commercializing data-heavy software or AI products.

\- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, energy systems, economics, business, or a related field can be useful; equivalent operating experience is equally welcome.

\- An existing network among storage owners and operators is valuable, but product judgment and learning speed matter more than the size of a contact list.

\- Startup or small-team experience is strongly helpful.

## Benefits

Location And Working Style

New York City is preferred. Boston, Houston, or another energy-market hub can work for an exceptional candidate who can maintain a regular in-person cadence and travel to customers.

Compensation And Benefits

Base salary range: $150K-$210K, plus meaningful early-stage equity. Parisi Labs provides medical and dental benefits. This is not expected to be a commission-heavy role while the commercial motion is still being established. Final compensation depends on level, location, experience, and role scope.

Interview Process

\- Founder conversation with the CEO.

\- Product and market working session using a representative storage-operator workflow.

\- Technical collaboration conversation with an engineering or applied-AI leader.

\- In-person final.

\- Offer review.
