## Description

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for an **EXPERIENCED GRADES PERSON** to join our **EXCAVATION SERVICES** division.

This is full time seasonal position that offers a competitive wage with benefits.

The primary responsibilities, duties, and expectations of this position include, but are not limited to:

-   Understands grades and general survey, and possesses the ability to read and understand drawings
-   Assist operators with the monitoring of excavations and safely guide operators around utilities and other obstacles
-   Provide accurate cut and fill directions when grading after removals

-   The ability to read grade stakes, offsetting hubs, and taking measurements
-   Must know how to differentiate grade markings and measuring points
-   Set up of barricades and signs around excavations
-   Ability to work long hours and overtime in a physically demanding work setting
-   Assist in equipment pre/post trip inspections and general maintenance

Pay Scale $24 - $29 per hour based on experience
