## Description

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for over 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for three **EXPERIENCED TOPMAN / TOPWOMAN** to join our **CIVIL UNDERGROUND DIVISION.** This position is a full -time seasonal role and offers competitive wage with benefits.

The primary responsibilities, duties, and expectations of this position include, but are not limited to:

-   Strong working-knowledge of pipe lasers, transits. An understanding of proper bedding placement and pipe securement
-   Ability to evaluate and adjust work plan based on ground conditions
-   Ability to understands grades, general survey, and drawings
-   Understand and implements proper rigging techniques onsite
-   Have full understanding and compliance with City specification for the tasks you are completing
-   Perform hole coring on structures.
-   Set up core elevations on structures based on field measurements. In addition set up track lines, center lines, and hubs
-   Monitoring of ground conditions and safely guide operators around utilities
-   Assist in work planning which includes forecasting work tasks and prepping materials in advance
-   Assist with crew supervision as directed
-   Willingness to assist in various labour activities required such as setting up chains for rigging, operating small equipment, and installing precast structures
-   Assist in equipment pre/post trip inspections and general maintenance

## Requirements

-   Valid Class 5 Driver's license
-   Able to work outside in all weather conditions
-   Willingness to work around live sanitary and storm sewers as needed
-   Able to work Monday -Friday and when necessary overtime & weekends
-   Valid Ground Disturbance 201 Standard training (Alberta) is an asset
-   Valid Confined Space Monitor/Entry training is an asset

Pay Scale $32 - $38
