## Description

Park Place Finance is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical **Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst** to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. This role combines strong accounting expertise with financial analysis to provide leadership with meaningful insights while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. ### Key Responsibilities

### Financial Planning & Analysis

-   Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
-   Analyze quarterly and annual financial performance and identify trends
-   Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial recommendations
-   Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate financial insights to leadership

### Budgeting & Forecasting

-   Assist with the annual budgeting process
-   Monitor budget performance and analyze variances between actual and projected results
-   Recommend opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance

### Accounting & Financial Reporting

-   Lead month-end and year-end close processes
-   Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
-   Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
-   Prepare timely and accurate financial statements

### Compliance & Controls

-   Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
-   Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits
-   Assist with sales tax, payroll tax, corporate tax filings, and general ledger maintenance
-   Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

### Business Partnership

-   Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other departments to provide financial guidance
-   Present financial results and recommendations to management
-   Support strategic planning through historical analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking

### Process Improvement

-   Identify opportunities to improve accounting and financial reporting processes
-   Recommend and implement efficiencies through automation and improved workflows

### Leadership

-   Mentor and train junior accounting staff
-   Support the continued development of accounting best practices across the organization

## Requirements

**Required:**

-   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

-   3–5+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role

-   Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

-   Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas
-   Experience with QuickBooks and/or ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
-   Ability to work in-office Monday through Friday in Austin, Texas

-   Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

-   Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences

-   High attention to detail and accuracy

-   Strategic mindset with strong business acumen

**Preferred Qualifications:**

-   MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
-   CPA or CFA designation
-   Experience in hard money lending or commercial real estate lending (Bridge, DSCR, or Renovation Loans)
-   Experience with warehouse lending facilities
-   Experience preparing partnership and investor tax filings
