**Path Construction** is seeking a motivated **Estimating Engineer** to join our team in Arlington Heights, IL. We are a rapidly growing general contractor headquartered in Arlington Heights, with additional offices in Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, TN; Tampa, FL; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ. Our projects span across the country and cover a wide range of industries.

This role is ideal for someone with 1+ years of construction estimating experience who is looking to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Support the estimating team and senior estimators throughout the bid process
-   Perform quantity take-offs and assist with cost estimates
-   Prepare and manage bid packages
-   Assist with subcontractor outreach and bid procurement
-   Track and manage RFIs during the bidding phase
-   Support cost analysis and bid comparisons
-   Assist with scheduling and project planning efforts
-   Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
-   Contribute to accurate, competitive, and high-quality bids

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
-   1+ years of construction estimating experience
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project
-   Experience with On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software
-   Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment
