### **About the Role**

We’re hiring an **Accounting Manager** to **own financial accuracy, reporting, and month-end close across multiple entities**.

This is a **hands-on, execution-driven role** — not a supervisory-only position.

You will:

### **What You’ll Own**

### **1\. Month-End Close & Financial Reporting (Core Focus)**

-   Execute month-end close with accuracy and timeliness
-   Prepare financial reports aligned with client requirements
-   Ensure compliance with:

-   GAAP

-   Maintain clean, structured workpapers

### **2\. Payroll & Employee Setup**

-   Process payroll using:

-   Gusto or similar

-   Manage employee onboarding in payroll systems
-   Ensure payroll compliance and documentation

### **3\. Core Accounting Operations**

-   Oversee:

-   Accounts Payable (AP)
-   Accounts Receivable (AR)

-   Maintain accurate general ledger across entities
-   Manage day-to-day accounting with precision

### **4\. Sales Tax & Compliance**

-   Calculate and file U.S. state sales tax
-   Maintain documentation for all filings
-   Ensure compliance across jurisdictions

### **5\. Reporting, Analysis & Forecasting**

-   Build custom financial reports
-   Support:

-   Budgeting
-   Forecasting

-   Provide insights for decision-making

### **6\. Process Improvement & Systems**

-   Review and document accounting processes
