## Description

### Admissions Coordinator (Bilingual – English & Spanish)

**Position Type:** Full-Time, Remote

**Working Hours:** U.S. Business Hours

### About the Role

We are looking for a bilingual **Admissions Coordinator** to serve as the first point of contact for prospective students interested in our vocational training programs.

This is an inbound sales and enrollment role where your primary responsibility is to guide prospective students through the admissions process—from their initial inquiry to enrollment. You will answer questions, recommend the right program based on each student's goals, explain available funding options, and help students confidently take the next step in their education.

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator in both **English and Spanish**, enjoys helping people make important life decisions, and has experience converting inbound inquiries into enrollments through a consultative sales approach.

### Responsibilities

### Student Admissions & Enrollment

- Answer inbound calls from prospective students in English or Spanish.
- Qualify each student's goals, career interests, and enrollment timeline.
- Recommend the most suitable training program across both campuses.
- Guide prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process.
- Complete enrollments during the initial call whenever possible.
- Send enrollment paperwork and clearly explain the next steps.

### Student Consultation

- Explain program details, including curriculum, schedules, program length, start dates, and career outcomes.
- Educate students about available financial assistance and funding options, including VA Education Benefits and applicable state workforce programs.
- Address objections related to tuition, timing, or career concerns with confidence and professionalism.

### Lead Follow-Up

- Follow up with prospective students who have not yet enrolled.
- Maintain regular communication until a final enrollment decision is made.
- Build trust and provide ongoing support throughout the decision-making process.

### CRM & Administrative Support

- Maintain accurate records of calls, student information, and enrollment progress within the CRM or admissions system.
- Coordinate with campus staff regarding class availability, upcoming start dates, and onboarding requirements.
- Ensure all student records remain accurate and up to date.

### What Makes You a Strong Fit

- You enjoy speaking with people and helping them make important career decisions.
- You are confident closing enrollments without using high-pressure sales tactics.
- You communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
- You stay organized and manage multiple prospective students simultaneously.
- You are proactive, responsive, and committed to providing an outstanding student experience.

### Required Experience & Skills

### Must-Have

- Fully bilingual in **English and Spanish** (spoken and written).
- 2+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment, inside sales, phone sales, or a consultative sales role.
- Proven ability to handle objections and close sales or enrollments over the phone.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Experience using CRM or call-tracking systems.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Professional phone presence and customer service skills.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office.

### Nice-to-Have

- Previous admissions or enrollment experience at a vocational, trade, or career school.
- Knowledge of VA Education Benefits or state workforce funding programs.
- Experience selling educational, healthcare, or vocational training programs.
- Experience working with both healthcare and skilled trades education programs.

### What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

Your day begins by answering inbound inquiries from prospective students interested in vocational training programs. You learn about each student's goals, explain available programs, answer questions about tuition and funding options, and guide qualified students through the enrollment process.

Throughout the day, you follow up with prospective students who are still considering their options, update the CRM with detailed notes, coordinate with campus staff regarding class availability, and ensure every student receives a smooth and professional admissions experience.

Success in this role comes from helping prospective students confidently choose the right career path while consistently converting inquiries into enrollments.

### Interview Process

1. Initial Recruiter Screening
2. Client Interview
3. Offer Stage

### What happens after you apply

Right after you apply, you’ll receive an email invitation from **Spark Hire** to record your Intro Video. It’s a short, self-recorded video, completed once on your own time, and it’s the final step that completes your application.

Here’s why we do it this way. Instead of repeating yourself on screening call after screening call, you tell your story once and it carries forward. Hiring managers get to see how you actually communicate before you meet, so when you’re a fit, the first conversation isn’t starting from scratch. Fewer interviews, and the ones you do have count for more.

Don’t overthink it. Record it as many times as you like—nobody sees the takes you discard. Just be yourself. Your Intro Video invitation will come from **Spark Hire**, our trusted video interview platform, so please keep an eye on **both your inbox and spam folder for the email.**
