### About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented **Senior Accounting Manager** to manage accounting operations across multiple locations and business units. You’ll own the month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, audit support and accounting controls while helping build a scalable financial system.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Own the **month-end close** across multiple locations/entities.
-   Manage and review **P&L, AR, AP, payroll and financial records** by business unit.
-   Perform and review **bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations** in QuickBooks Online.
-   Ensure financial records are accurate and follow **US GAAP and US accounting practices**.
-   Analyze financial results and identify discrepancies, risks and unusual activity.
-   Perform and review audit procedures across revenue, AR, inventory, fixed assets, AP, debt, equity and payroll.
-   Test and improve **internal controls and accounting processes**.
-   Support external audits and maintain accurate documentation.
-   Work closely with the VP Accounting and leadership as the company continues to scale.

### Required Experience & Skills

-   **5+ years of accounting experience**, including ownership of month-end close.
-   Bachelor's degree in **Accounting or a related field**.
-   Strong **US GAAP and US accounting** knowledge — essential.
-   Experience managing accounting across **multiple entities, locations, or business units** — essential.
-   **Expert-level QuickBooks Online** experience.
-   Strong Excel skills.
-   Experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, payroll, AR, and AP.
-   **2–4 years of public accounting or external audit experience** preferred.
-   Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-   Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed.

### Preferred Qualifications

-   **CPA license** preferred but not required.
-   Experience in a fast-growing or multi-location company.
-   Experience improving accounting systems, processes, and controls.
