## Description

General Superintendent – **Grading / Paving**

**Pay:** DOE (discussed during interview) DOE

Location ; 8211 W Sherman St Tolleson AZ 85353

The General Superintendent is highly knowledgeable in paving and grading operations, with a primary focus on paving. This role oversees daily grading and paving activities, leading crews of approximately 10–15 employees to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Concrete and milling experience are beneficial but not required. The General Superintendent works closely with management to plan work, coordinate resources, and resolve field‑level challenges.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Supervise and coordinate grading and paving crews
-   Ensure quality, safety, and productivity on all job sites
-   Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budget control
-   Read and interpret project plans and specifications
-   Oversee materials, equipment, and maintenance
-   Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
-   Adapt to weather and schedule changes as needed

## Requirements

**Requirements:**

**3–5 years of experience** in **grading** and paving supervision

-   Must be **21 years of age or older**
-   Minimum **2 years of relevant work experience/ Grading**
-   Valid D**riving record**
-   Clean driving record for the past **3 years**
-   Ability to work outdoors in hot and physically demanding conditions
-   Able to travel and work flexible hours as required
-   Must pass drug testing
-   Must be able to work under the **Head of AZ Travel**
