**About the role**

Join our team in Eastbourne at our Manufacturing Centre where you'll take ownership of a fast-paced production area, leading teams on shift to deliver daily targets. You’ll be hands-on in driving operational efficiency, embedding lean principles, and solving problems on the shop floor to ensure safe, smooth and high-quality operations.

-   Lead daily operations across Production, Injection Moulding and Logistics, delivering against the production plan and customer demand.
-   Run shift performance using SQCDP and daily management routines, using data to identify issues and drive immediate action.
-   Take ownership of day-to-day operational decisions, resolving issues quickly to minimise downtime and maintain workflow.
-   Lead shopfloor problem-solving through a “Go to Gemba” approach, identifying root causes and fixing issues at source.
-   Drive lean manufacturing and POM principles, improving flow, reducing waste and increasing operational efficiency.
-   Champion continuous improvement, challenging existing processes to improve productivity, quality and output.
-   Ensure effective use of people, materials and equipment to maximise efficiency and control costs.
-   Maintain equipment performance through TPM, embedding a “brand new forever” mindset and reducing unplanned downtime.
-   Ensure SOPs, in-process quality checks and ISO/IMS standards are consistently followed to maintain product quality and compliance.
-   Set and maintain high standards for safety and housekeeping, embedding HSE and 5S principles across the area.
-   Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders through regular feedback, 1:1s and performance management, building a high-performing team.
-   Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Planning teams to resolve issues, improve performance and ensure delivery targets are met.

**What are we looking for?**

-   Experience leading teams within a manufacturing / operations environment, with a solid understanding of performance metrics and structured ways of working.
-   Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach, develop and motivate high‑performing teams.
-   Confidence working to defined processes and standards, using operational data to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
-   Familiarity with manufacturing practices such as LEAN principles, production systems or ISO‑based environments.

_Please note: Our manufacturing site is currently based in Eastbourne, with plans to relocate to Brighton in the coming years. While exact dates are not yet confirmed, the move is currently expected to complete around 2030._
