### About the Role

We’re looking for a **Medior QA Engineer** to join our Hungary-based engineering team. You’ll play an important role in ensuring the quality of our software, owning testing for assigned features and helping the team continuously improve its QA practices.

You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads and Automation QA Engineers in an Agile environment. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing functional, exploratory, integration and regression tests, translating requirements into test scenarios, performing API testing and using SQL and logs to investigate issues.

You’ll also contribute to improving our testing processes, identifying opportunities for automation and supporting Continuous Delivery practices across the team.

### What You'll Do

-   Own testing for assigned features, from requirements through release
-   Design and execute **functional, exploratory, integration and regression tests**
-   Perform **API testing** and validate data using SQL
-   Investigate issues using logs and diagnostic information
-   Identify regression scenarios and opportunities for automation
-   Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads and Automation QA Engineers
-   Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage and Continuous Delivery practices
-   Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning and refinement

### What We're Looking For

-   **3+ years of QA/testing experience**, ideally with web applications
-   Hands-on experience with **API testing** using Postman or similar tools
-   Practical **SQL** skills and experience analysing logs
-   Understanding of testing methodologies such as **TDD/BDD**
-   Experience with **Agile and Continuous Delivery** practices
-   Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
-   Ability to work effectively with **remote and global teams**
-   Financial services or payments testing experience is a plus
