Due to continuous growth and expansion, **Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals** offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a **Project Planner** to join our **Engineering** Department at our **Sapes** premises.

A **Project Planner** is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring detailed project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and milestones to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. They collaborate closely with project managers and cross‑functional teams to maintain accurate schedules, anticipate risks, and adjust plans as needed.

**What you’ll do:**

-   **Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules**, including tasks, dependencies, milestones, and deadlines.
-   **Estimate labor, resource, and budget requirements** for all project phases.
-   **Design detailed project plans** guiding execution from initiation to completion.
-   **Monitor project progress**, identify delays or risks, and adjust schedules accordingly.
-   **Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders** to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
-   **Prepare reports and dashboards** for project managers and leadership.
-   **Use project management tools** (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, SAP) to track and update project data.
-   **Support budgeting and invoicing processes**, depending on organizational needs.

## Requirements

**The ideal candidate should have:**

**Required Skills & Competencies**

-   Strong organizational and analytical skills.
-   Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or SAP.
-   High attention to detail and ability to anticipate scheduling conflicts.
-   Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
-   Understanding of project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, etc.).

**Typical Qualifications**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Construction Management, or related fields.
-   Preferred certifications: PMP, PMI‑SP, PRINCE2, APICS, CPIM.
