**Pharmathen** offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a **Costing Senior Officer** to join our **Costing** team at our **Marousi** premises**.**

The **Costing Senior Officer** is responsible for ensuring the integrity of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Partner with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, R&D, and Finance to deliver accurate product costing, inventory control, and month-end financial reporting while supporting operational excellence.

**More particularly:**

**What you’ll do:**

-   Lead month-end and year-end closing activities within SAP, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
-   Perform production orders review and variance analysis to ensure accurate product costing and production cost allocation
-   Manage end-to-end inventory accounting, monitoring all material movements across raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses
-   Perform inventory reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, and inventory valuation in accordance with accounting policies and internal controls
-   Maintain and support SAP Material Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Financial Accounting (FI), and Controlling (CO) processes related to manufacturing operations
-   Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, and Quality to improve inventory accuracy, manufacturing efficiency, and cost transparency
-   Deliver financial analysis, management reporting, and ad hoc business support for operational and strategic initiatives
-   Ensure compliance with internal control requirements, GMP regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and the Company’s Quality Management System

## Requirements

**Minimum Qualifications:**

-   BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

**Minimum Experience:**

-   3-5 years’ experience in industrial cost accounting or relevant field 

**Job-Specific Skills:**

-   Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
-   SAP experience is mandatory (warehouse book, MM, PP, FI, CO)
-   Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
-   Accuracy and attention to detail
-   Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-   Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
-   Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
-   Computer literacy (Office/ Excel)
