**Pharmathen** offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a **Research Scientist** to join our R&D team at our Metamorfosi premises.

As a **Research Scientist,** the ideal candidate will provide high quality support in analytical development in a GLP environment. Also, will participate in all stages of a new product development, through analysis of R&D formulations and scale up/registration batches.

## Requirements

**What you will do:**

More particularly:

-   Perform analyses to support all stages of the product’s life cycle, from development and stability studies to registration and post-approval activities.
-   Deliver, evaluate, and interpret experimental analytical data.
-   Compile, maintain, review, and interpret analytical and statistical data.
-   Assist in the generation of high-quality technical documents required for method validation, stability studies, formulation activities, and deficiency responses.
-   Maintain laboratory systems and ensure compliance with relevant GMP requirements.
-   Follow applicable EU and FDA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
-   Adhere to safety and housekeeping requirements.
-   Undertake additional activities and responsibilities as assigned.

**The ideal candidate should have:**

-   BSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field
-   Master’s degree in chemistry or relevant field.
-   At least 2 year of experience in chemical analysis in the Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent.
-   Competent in analytical method development techniques (HPLC, GC, UV, IR etc) and analytical lab instrumentation
-   Troubleshooting skills
-   Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines

**Job-Specific Skills:**

-   Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
-   Computer literacy (Microsoft office)
