## Description

The **Product Sales Engineer (Turbomachinery)** plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by delivering tailored turbomachinery solutions to clients across the oil and gas industry. This role requires a technically proficient and commercially savvy professional who can bridge the gap between engineering innovation and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of industrial systems and turbomachinery equipment. With a minimum of 3 years’ experience and the flexibility to travel extensively (up to 60%), this role offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships and contribute to impactful engineering solutions.

### **Key Responsibilities**

### **Sales Strategy & Execution**

-   Develop and execute effective sales strategies to promote turbomachinery products to both existing and new customers.
-   Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales leads, installations, and project opportunities.
-   Propose technical and commercial solutions, including process optimizations and engineering recommendations, in collaboration with OEMs and internal teams.
-   Prepare and present bids, proposals, and demonstrations to support customer acquisition and retention efforts.

### **Client Engagement & Support**

-   Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their operational needs and providing targeted product solutions.
-   Conduct site visits, surveys, and technical presentations to diagnose client requirements and align solutions accordingly.
-   Provide post-sales support including troubleshooting, training, and technical assistance to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

### **Cross-Functional Collaboration**

-   Work closely with internal teams including service centers, operations, and sales support to ensure efficient order execution and on-time product delivery.
-   Leverage collaboration with OEM partners and service teams to deliver holistic lifecycle solutions.

### **Market Intelligence & Representation**

-   Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in turbomachinery and apply insights to strategy and client interactions.
-   Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to grow market presence and promote solutions.
-   Maintain thorough understanding of oil and gas processes, turbomachinery products, and related engineering principles.

**Note**: This position requires **60% travel**, including to **onshore and offshore** client locations.

## Requirements

-   **Education**: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
-   **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in turbomachinery product sales, preferably within the oil and gas or heavy industrial sectors.
-   **IT Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft 365 and internet-based research tools.

### **Competencies**

-   In-depth technical knowledge of turbomachinery products and associated engineering principles including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and mass transfer.
-   Familiarity with international engineering standards and ability to deliver effective technical presentations and lifecycle diagnostics.
-   Strong business development skills, including sales forecasting, market analysis, and preparation of technical/commercial bids.
-   Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
-   Knowledge of oil & gas operational processes and power transmission systems.
