## Description

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant, literate of ERP software, reporting to the management.

Accounting Assistant responsibilities include daily accounting tasks, book entries and reconciliations between commercial & accounting activities, management of General expenses, bank statements reconciliation, receivables and payables planning and executing, preparation of periodic reports (VIES, VAT Returns etc).

**Responsibilities**

-   Daily Booking Entries
-   Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
-   Bank Accounts reconciliation
-   Chasing Receivables & Remit payables
-   Maintain digital and physical financial records
-   Review and file payroll documents
-   Participate in quarterly and annual audits
-   Communication with banks, tax authorities
-   Coordination with customers and suppliers

## Requirements

-   Work experience as an Accountant or Accounting Assistant
-   Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures of S.A. companies
-   Familiarity with finance regulations
-   Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
-   Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Apollon)
-   Organization skills
-   Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
-   BSc/Ba in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
-   Fluent in English
-   Ability to comunicate with several cultures in a global environment
