Picpulse analyzes the visual web (Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) and provides insights to brands and retailers in the form of rich data visualizations. Every year $200 BN of value is lost in the retail fashion industry from stockouts and markdowns, and a big reason for that is decision makers (buyers, merchants, merchandisers) largely rely on intuition and guesswork to make their purchasing decisions. Picpulse is a SaaS data visualization solution that helps remove that guesswork, enabling decisions to be more data driven.
Picpulse is a startup founded in June 2014 out of Computer Vision and Machine Learning project done in Cornell's Engineering School.
