**About the job :**

We are seeking for a motivated and results-driven Strategic Buyer to join our Procurement Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities ensuring cost-effectiveness, high-quality service delivery, and compliance with the Bank's procurement framework. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver value-driven sourcing solutions that support the Bank’s strategic objectives.

**Responsibilities**

-   Partner closely with internal stakeholders (ie Risk, Finance, Technology etc) to understand business requirements and provide effective solutions that support organizational objectives.
-   Analyze commercial proposals and market conditions, to ensure competitive pricing, negotiate for optimal commercial terms and sustainable cost savings, while maintaining high service quality agreements.
-   Establish, maintain and foster strong relationships with Suppliers, monitor performance, and address issues to ensure alignment with business objectives, timely delivery and quality standards and monitor performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
-   Adhere to and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all purchases align with the Bank’s guidelines and ethical standards.
-   Conduct market research and stay informed on industry trends, best practices, innovations, and emerging suppliers within the relevant landscape.
-   Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and category management practices.

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

-   Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (BSc, MSc)
-   Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management.
-   Experience in supplier management, contract negotiations, and stakeholder engagement, is welcome.
-   Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to evaluate complex proposals and identify value creation opportunities.
-   Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
-   Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
-   Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
-   Familiarity with digital tools and AI-enabled solutions (e.g. data analysis, market intelligence, automation tools).
