**About the role** 

Pixelogic is looking for experienced Chinese-to-Korean and Korean-to-Chinese in-house QC Editor to establish a professional, high-performing collaboration with teams around the globe with the end goal of servicing our clients’ end-to-end projects.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.

Due to the sensitive nature of the delivery schedule, time flexibility is of paramount importance.

**Primary Responsibilities** 

• Proofread and edit content translated between Chinese and Korean, using both client’s tool as well as Pixelogic proprietary cloud based subtitling software for both dubbing and subtitling

• Leverage in-house glossary tool for consistency across products as well as follow client style guide specifications

• Handle rejections/make corrections in files

• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality

• Remain current with industry trends, and adapt to evolving client requirements

• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.

## Requirements

• Chinese (Traditional or Simplified) and Korean bilingual

• Business level English (Not a must)

• Passion for Chinese and Korean drama is an asset

• Minimum of 2 years of translation and/or proofreading experience required

• Experience with Korean dubbing is an asset

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Must have demonstrated ability to accomplish work on a rigorous schedule (on-time delivery and flexible working hours)

• Ability to follow technical / style guide for multiple client content types
