# Senior Product Manager

## Description

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of Portless' e-commerce and digital platforms. You will translate customer and business needs into scalable digital products, working closely with Engineering, Sales, Solutions, Operations, and customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

**E-commerce & Digital Platform Product Strategy**

-   Own and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Portless' e-commerce and digital platforms.
-   Identify opportunities to improve merchant experience, operational efficiency, scalability, and business growth through digital products.
-   Translate business strategy and customer needs into clear product vision, priorities, and execution plans.

**Product Discovery & Requirements**

-   Work closely with merchants, Sales, Solutions, Operations, and internal stakeholders to understand business problems and customer needs.
-   Conduct product discovery, user research, workflow analysis, and data analysis to identify product opportunities.
-   Translate complex business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, workflows, and functional specifications.
-   Balance customer needs, business priorities, technical feasibility, and development resources when making product decisions.

**E-commerce Platform & Digital Product Development**

-   Lead the development and continuous improvement of digital products such as:
-   E-commerce / merchant platforms
-   Customer portals
-   Product and order management
-   Content and account management
-   Customer experience and self-service tools
-   Internal operational tools
-   Reporting and data-driven product features
-   Drive product development from concept and MVP through launch, adoption, and continuous optimization.

**System Integration & Technical Product Management**

-   Own product requirements for integrations with customers, e-commerce platforms, SaaS applications, and third-party systems.

-   Work closely with Engineering on APIs, data flows, system interfaces, and integration requirements.
-   Understand technical dependencies and translate technical capabilities into scalable business solutions.
-   Partner with Engineering to define practical solutions while maintaining product quality and scalability.

**Product Delivery & Cross-functional Collaboration**

-   Work closely with the VP of Product and development teams to manage product delivery and ensure timely execution.
-   Collaborate with UX/UI, Engineering, Sales, Solutions, Operations, and other teams throughout the product lifecycle.
-   Lead Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, product reviews, and product launches where appropriate.
-   Product Performance & Continuous Improvement
-   Define and monitor product KPIs and adoption metrics.
-   Use customer feedback, product usage data, and business performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
-   Continuously optimize product functionality, user experience, and operational efficiency.

**Customer & Solutions Support**

-   Participate in customer-facing discussions, particularly for strategic customers and complex product or integration requirements.
-   Support Sales and Solutions teams in evaluating customer requirements and defining scalable product solutions.
-   Act as the voice of the customer while ensuring that individual customer requirements do not compromise overall product scalability.

## Requirements

-   8+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of building and launching digital products.
-   Strong experience in e-commerce, digital platforms, SaaS, marketplace, retail technology, or other technology-driven businesses.
-   \*Hands-on experience designing and launching products such as e-commerce platforms, customer portals, CMS, OMS, CRM, product/order management systems, or other digital platforms.
-   Strong understanding of software product development and the ability to work effectively with Engineering teams.
-   Solid understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and third-party SaaS/platform integrations.
-   Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into product requirements, user stories, workflows, and functional specifications.
-   Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, roadmap, MVP, and backlog priorities based on business impact and customer needs.
-   Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-   Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and senior leadership.
-   Strong ownership and a 0-to-1 mindset, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-growing and ambiguous environment.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data and customer insights to drive product decisions.
-   Familiarity with Agile/Scrum product development methodologies.

**Nice to Have**

-   Experience working in Logistics, fulfillment, 3PL, supply chain, cross-border e-commerce, or related industries.
-   Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar platforms.
-   Experience with OMS, WMS, TMS, CRM, CMS, ERP, or other enterprise systems.
-   Experience managing complex B2B integrations and enterprise customer implementations.
-   Experience working with data platforms, BI, AI/automation, or other emerging technologies.
-   PMP, Scrum, or other relevant product/project management certification.
