> Power Factors · Athens, Greece (Hybrid) · — · Posted 2026-08-18

**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Office of Chief Financial Officer

## Description

Power Factors is a software and solutions provider leading the next generation of clean energy with Unity, one of the most extensive and widely deployed renewable energy management suites (REMS) in the market. With over 300 GW of wind, solar, and energy storage assets managed worldwide across more than 600 customers and 18,000 sites, Power Factors manages 25% of the world's renewable energy data. Our SCADA Delivery business is a project-based professional services, hardware and software operation that is scaling rapidly, and we need a strong finance partner to grow with it.

As Sr. Manager of FP&A for SCADA Delivery, you will own financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for a multi-revenue-stream business unit that spans professional services, hardware, and software. You will be the embedded finance partner to the SCADA Delivery leadership team, turning complex operational inputs into clear financial stories, decision-ready recommendations, and tight execution against targets.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, international environment. You will report to the VP of FP&A with a dotted line to the Chief Delivery Officer (CDO), and work cross-functionally with Accounting, Commercial Operations, SCADA Delivery Operations, Pricing and Procurement.

### **What You'll Do**

### **Own the AOP and Forecasting Cadence**

•      Lead the annual operating plan (AOP), monthly outlook, quarterly forecast, and long-range plan for SCADA Delivery; build driver-based models with base/upside/downside scenarios.

•      Own and drive a risk-and-opportunity analytic that constantly and dynamically provides a nuanced, balanced, and material view of the state of the business relative to the AOP or prior forecast, for the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.

•      Deliver weekly and monthly financial performance analysis, including variance-to-plan/forecast, root-cause diagnostics, outlook updates, and specific actions to mitigate risk and improve performance.

•      Drive the quarterly EAC/ETC forecasting process in partnership with Project Managers; ensure estimates are reflected accurately in the P&L and balance sheet.

### **Partner with SCADA Delivery Leadership**

•      Standing member of the SCADA Delivery leadership team. Weekly 1:1 with the CDO. Co-attends key customer commercial reviews and project gate reviews.

•      Support the Delivery leadership team with decision support and tradeoff analysis, evaluate investments, headcount additions, and new product offerings with ROI and margin impact analysis.

•      Prepare and present SCADA Delivery content for newly created Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs): dashboards, bridges, risks and opportunities, and executive recommendations.

•      Drive working capital initiatives particularly focused on unbilled reductions, DSO management, and collections.

•      Drive and influence better data quality, faster revenue conversion, more efficient labor utilization, and higher profitability across the SD business.

•      Co-own cost build-ups and margin floors for new bids in partnership with Sales Engineering and Pricing. Gate at bid stage on margin acceptability.

### **Manage Professional Services and Hardware Economics**

•      Build an integrated view of SCADA Delivery economics across hardware/software revenue and gross margin, and services contribution.

•      Partner with Commercial Operations on pipeline and bookings visibility; connect bookings and backlog to revenue timing for predictability and headcount demand planning.

•      Partner with SCADA Delivery Ops, Pricing and Procurement to forecast hardware margin drivers (COGS, mix, freight, warranty) and surface margin leakage early.

### **Own Project Accounting and Profitability**

•      Own the end-to-end project financial reporting and monthly close lifecycle: partner with Accounting and SCADA Delivery Leadership from project setup in NetSuite to driving the monthly revenue recognition process.

•      Build and maintain project profitability reporting: margin-by-project views that surface contribution margin, cost-to-complete, and variance to original bid; use findings to identify systemic pricing or scoping issues across the portfolio, with documented root-cause categorization (scope, hours, subcontract, materials, FX, change-order leakage, among others).

•      Manage WIP; define and monitor early-warning indicators (shrinking estimated gross profit, aging unbilled balances, scope creep without approved change orders) and ensure leadership receives timely visibility before overruns become surprises.

•      Conduct post-project margin reviews; synthesize findings into actionable insights for Sales, Pricing, and Commercial Operations to improve future bids.

•      Build rate card frameworks (labor burden by role, location, and seniority) to ensure bids incorporate fully loaded cost assumptions; track utilization and realization rates against budget.

•      Additional/ad-hoc responsibilities as needed

### **Improve Process, Speed, and Quality**

•      Streamline planning and reporting workflows; automate recurring deliverables and improve data quality and consistency across systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, Cloud Coach).

•      Increase forecast accuracy and reduce fire drills by tightening the driver model, intake process, and cross-functional ownership.

·                 Contribute to the NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing implementation and inventory process/reporting design.

•      Operate effectively across a range of international regions, cultures, time zones, functions, seniority, and tenure; manage multi-currency and FX impacts and drive consistent KPI definitions globally.

### **Qualifications (Required)**

•      8+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, including ownership of budgeting and forecasting for a business line or business unit.

•      Hands-on project accounting experience: EAC/ETC forecasting, WIP and unbilled revenue management, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition (ASC 606), and job costing in a project-based delivery environment.

•      Experience with hardware economics (COGS, gross margin, revenue/margin forecasting, mix) in a bundled software + hardware + services offer.

•      International company experience with multi-region stakeholders; comfortable working across time zones and managing FX impacts.

•      Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; strong ability to synthesize and communicate insights to senior leaders.

•      Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment; able to deliver a solid answer quickly and iterate with rigor.

•      Demonstrated ability to challenge operational leaders (CoE Leaders. PMs, Technical Managers, Sales Engineering) on margin, scope, and pricing, without routine escalation.

### **Qualifications (Preferred)**

•      ERP and revenue systems familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce experience strongly preferred.

•      Experience implementing or acting as SME for planning tools or EPM software.

•      Experience with a combined SaaS + professional services and hardware revenue model; comfort with multi-stream P&L economics.

•      Experience in a PE-backed or investor-owned environment.

•      MBA, or similar advanced degree in business or economics.

### **Language Requirement - English**

•      Knowledge of English is required in order to respond to English-speaking clients and to collaborate with teams located outside of Greece, these activities representing a significant part of the responsibilities of the position.

### **What Success Looks Like**

•      Forecasts are driver-based, explainable, and trusted as leadership uses them to run the business, not check the math.

•      Margin drivers across Professional Services and Hardware/Software are transparent; risks are flagged early and acted on before quarter-end.

•      Project financial health is visible enough to prevent surprises with no overruns, delayed billing, or margin erosion that weren't seen coming.

•      Planning and closing cycles run on time with clear ownership and fewer last-minute escalations.

•      Reporting is consistent, automated where possible, and decision-oriented not a data dump.
