## Description

Green Thumb Landscaping, based in Burlington ON is looking for a driven, motivated, and reliable individual to join our team as Ground Maintenance Crew Member. This year-round position as we are full-service Maintenance and Snow. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors through all four seasons — providing professional lawn care services during the spring, a transition to assisting the maintenance and enhancement crews in the summer and fall and working with the snow and ice management crews in the winter season. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, outdoor work in all weather (rain, sun, snow and ice) and takes pride in delivering quality results and thrives in a fast pace, multi-faceted and very busy environment.

Key responsibilities include:

-   Performing mowing, trimming, edging, and other grounds maintenance tasks
-   High school diploma or equivalent; experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred
-   Valid "G" driver’s license with a clean abstract required
-   Strong work ethic, communication skills and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-   Ability to operate and maintain outdoor equipment safely
-   Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and adapt to all conditions
-   Ability to lift to 50 lbs
-   Stamina to perform physical labour outdoors for extended periods
-   Comfortable working in varying weather conditions year-round

## Requirements

### Required Qualifications:

-   1–2 years of relevant groundskeeping or landscaping maintenance experience
-   Experience in residential grounds or landscaping maintenance
-   Confident operation of zero-turn mowers, push mowers, walk-behind equipment, backpack blowers, and line trimmers
-   Able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
-   Physically able to work 10-hour days on feet using heavy equipment
-   Valid Ontario G driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
-   English proficiency sufficient for work and safety communication
-   Legally authorized to work in Canada
-   Has own reliable transportation to get to the yard and job sites

### Preferred Qualifications:

-   Experience maintaining high-end residential properties
-   Compensation expectations align with wages of $21–$23/hour
