## Description

Preferred Search Group is partnering with a top-rated private dental practice in Rockwell, TX to find a Patient Coordinator. This is a critical role in the overall success of the practice and the ideal candidate will have previous collections and treatment coordinator experience. Pay for this position is $25-28/hour depending on experience.

**Schedule:**

Monday-Thursday 7a-4p

**Duties**

-   Greet patients warmly and assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
-   Handle new patient calls and re-care patient calls.
-   Post insurance payments and manage the AR of the practice
-   Prepare and monitor practice statistics and provide to doctor for daily and weekly team members
-   Coordinate marketing projects
-   Coordinate time sheet submittal and payroll submission promptly
-   Coordinate training of new team members on computer software
-   Complete new team member packets in a timely manner
-   Coordinate all vacation schedules and requests for time off with doctor and add to schedule
-   Coordinate training for all newly hired team members
-   Coordinate coverage for team members during sick days, CEU or vacation and fill in for other office personnel as needed
-   Balance petty cash on hand and be accountable for receipts and reconciling
-   Take responsibility for the security and accounting for all cash and checks
-   Make necessary entries to computer, insurance updates, balance updates, payments, etc
-   Ensure insurance claims are submitted electronically and within 24 hours of procedure (making corrections if needed, resubmitting if needed)
-   Ensure health of Insurance AR by making sure it is complete by the 10th of each month
-   Run Audit Trail each day
-   Review production and collection reports daily
-   Ensure all team members maintain proper licensure
-   Support consultations as needed
-   Ensure X-ray and maintenance logs are current and compliant
-   Ensure inside and outside of office is kept tidy and neat

## Requirements

-   Previous collections and treatment coordinating experience
-   Experience working in a fee for service office highly desired
-   High school diploma
