# Accounting Supervisor

## Description

On behalf of our client, a leading multinational company in the industrial sector, we are seeking an **Accounting Supervisor**.

### **Main Responsibilities**

-   Ensure the smooth operation of the accounting department and full compliance with accounting and tax regulations
-   Supervise, guide, and evaluate the accounting team
-   Ensure accurate accounting records in accordance with Greek GAAP and IFRS
-   Monitor and manage tax obligations (VAT, withholding taxes, tax filings)
-   Oversee the correct functioning and submissions of 'myData' and provide support during tax audits
-   Prepare financial statements and management reports, and participate in the annual financial closing process
-   Liaise with external partners and auditors during audit processes
-   Monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and review balance sheets
-   Support the team with ad hoc financial analyses
-   Drive process improvements and implement internal controls and compliance procedures

## Requirements

-   BS'c degree in Economics, Accounting & Finance, or Business Administration
-   MS'c degree in a related financial field will be considered an asset
-   Professional certifications in Greek GAAP and IFRS will be considered an asset
-   At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
-   Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IFRS
-   Excellent knowledge and experience with SAP and good understanding of myData
-   Certified A’ Class Accountant license is desired
-   Excellent command of both Greek and English
