Prince Industries LLC is a contract manufacturer of precision machined and sheet metal fabricated components and assemblies. We are not a job shop, or a vendor, or even just a supplier - we are a strategic supply chain partner. Today we operate seven manufacturing facilities – two in Illinois, two in Florida, one in Vermont, one in Massachusetts, and one in Shanghai, China, and have hundreds of employees. All five of our manufacturing facilities are ISO 9001:2015 (and soon to be ISO 13485) certified. Two of our facilities are AS9100-certified for the aerospace industry as well.
COMPANY HISTORY
Prince was started by Ed Miller in 1959 as a one-man shop just outside of Chicago, Illinois. As demand for our services grew, so did we. By 1977, we expanded our capabilities to include sheet metal fabrication. A couple of years later, we implemented CNC technology. In 2006, Prince established a new division, QP Hydraulics, which sells products into the mobile and industrial hydraulics markets. In 2022 and 2023, we acquired two aerospace-focused facilities in Florida.
