## Description

**PRIORITY**, one of the largest and fastest growing Management and IT consulting firms in Greece is currently seeking to hire a **GDPR & Data Protection Officer**. The position is **project-based**, depending on the needs of the company.

**Position duties:**  

The responsibilities of the position mostly include:

-   Participate in GDPR and data governance projects.
-   Interact with customers on a regular basis.
-   Compare current practices against legal and regulatory requirements, international standards and best practices.
-   Prepare management reports and system documentation: policies, procedures, etc.
-   Provide advice and instructions on how to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
-   Participate in meetings with managers to ensure privacy by design at all levels.
-   Maintain records of processing operations.
-   Write and update detailed guides on data protection policies.
-   Perform audits and determine whether is needed to alter procedures to comply with regulations.
-   Offer consultation on how to deal with privacy breaches.
-   Arrange for training on GDPR compliance for employees.
-   Follow up with changes in law and issue recommendations to ensure compliance.

## Requirements

-   At least 2 years of experience in data protection and legal compliance
-   Solid knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws
-   Familiarity with computer security systems
-   Ability to handle confidential information
-   Ethical, with the ability to remain impartial and report non-conformities
-   Organizational skills with attention to detail
