# Travel Med/Surg RN - Night/Day Shift

**Start Date:** ASAP (Flexible)

**Location:** Marietta, GA

**Contract Length:** 13 Weeks

**Weekly Pay:** **$1,900/week (includes stipend)**

**Shift:** 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM and 6:45 AM-7:15 PM | **Every other weekend**

**2 major, 2 minor Holidays**

**Radius Rule:** Must live **50+ miles from facility for Travel pay**

### Responsibilities

-   Provide direct patient care with a focus on individualized patient assessments, planning, and implementation.
-   Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapies in compliance with established protocols and best practices.
-   Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans based on patient needs and progress.
-   Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
-   Educate patients and their families on discharge instructions, health maintenance, and treatment objectives.
-   Document all nursing care accurately, timely, and in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
-   Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

## Requirements

-   Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Georgia or compact state.
-   Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting.
-   BLS and ACLS certifications required; certifications must be current and valid.
-   Ability to work night and day shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
-   IV Heparin administration
-   Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient advocacy and support.
-   Ability to adapt to different clinical environments and remain flexible in a fast-paced work setting.
