## Description

Our client is recruiting an **Import costing officer**

**Detailed responsibilities and target**

·      Perform efficient and timely costing of imported equipment

·      Maintain and closely monitor the foreign creditors subledger

·      Ensure that stock items are properly posted in the accounting software

·      Closely monitor invoices relating to freight, marine insurance, clearing, customs and local charges

·      Monthly declaration of marine insurance to insurers

·      Organise perpetual and yearly stock take

·      Ability to work odd hours to assist the Finance Team to meet its reporting deadlines

## Requirements

**Qualifications required**

·      Minimum Higher School Certificate with Accounting at A-Level

**Required skills and experience**

·      Two years’ experience in the import and costing field

·      Proficiency with SAGE Evolution will be a definite advantage

·      Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping Good organisational skills

·      Strong team spirit

·      Good communication skills

·      Ability to work under pressure

·      Strong analytical skills

·      Solution and result oriented
