## Description

Our client, operating in Africa and starting its business in Mauritius, is looking for a tracking manager who is ready to work on a shift system, from **08h30 to 17h30 and from 14h00 to 22h30.** 

**Purpose of the role**

-   To ensure all the vehicles are up to date on the tracking system. Vehicles are driven as per the set company/government guidelines and regulation.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Ensure tracking of truck locations by GPS system on route as scheduled.
-   Evaluating truck/bus driver performance.
-   Ensuring there is compliance with company regulations by drivers.
-   Identifying on-road exceptions and taking immediate remedial action (communicating to drivers on route).
-   Coordinating and responding to emergency situations.
-   Liaising with drivers, operations personnel and management.
-   Developing and presenting daily management reports.
-   Ensure shift work.
-   Timely vehicle road user certificate renewals
-   Troubleshooting of faulty tracking units
-   Driver licenses renewals
-   Follow up by calling of drivers
-   Daily driver behavior report to operation bus/trucks.
-   Daily truck position to trucks operation manager
-   Daily Delay Reports to trucks operation manager
-   Monthly vehicle performance to business unit head

## Requirements

**Profile requirements**

-   Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or related course
-   At least 2 year experience in a tracking role
-   Ability to coordinating and responding to emergency situations
-   Ability to generate reports from the system and understand them.
-   Business Understanding:

o   Understand geographical area of the routes vehicles use

o   Understand fleet management systems used by the company

o   Understand procedures of operations.

-   Excellent IT skills
-   Excellent communication and Analytical Skills

-   Monitoring truck/bus driver performance.
