### No-Fault Account Specialist

**Full-Time | Remote**  
**Base Salary: $24.76–$27.83/hour (commensurate with experience)**

The No-Fault (NF) Account Specialist is responsible for account management of applicable no-fault cases. The No-Fault Account Specialist will verify, and secure authorizations as required by insurance carriers while making notification to adjusters to verify cases. In addition, No-Fault Account Specialist will be responsible for Account Receivable (AR) follow-up with the payers to bring accounts to claim resolution. 

### What You'll Do

-   Obtain required patient authorizations through payer portals and by phone.
-   Respond to clinic inquiries via phone, email, and internal tasking systems.
-   Communicate authorization approvals, denials, and status updates to providers.
-   Partner with clinic staff to resolve authorization-related issues.
-   Follow up with insurance carriers on authorizations and claim payments, escalating issues as needed.
-   Manage daily work queues to meet established productivity standards.
-   Identify denial, underpayment, and overpayment trends and escalate as appropriate.
-   Follow up on and resolve unpaid or outstanding accounts with payers.
-   Maintain knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, Risk Management, and compliance requirements.
-   Attend required staff meetings and training.

### What You'll Bring

-   2+ years of experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, and denial management.
-   Knowledge of clinic operations, including patient registration, referrals, authorizations, and cash collections.
-   Understanding of insurance reimbursement, authorization and collection practices, and practice management systems.
-   Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
-   Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
-   Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information appropriately.
-   Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinic teams.
