## Description

**Job Summary:**

As a Senior Accountant, you will be at the forefront of managing critical financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial planning. **What You Will Do:**

-   ·       Bookkeeping of parent company & subsidiaries.
-   ·       Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
-   ·       Monitor Mydata requirements and perform all the relevant necessary actions through the accounting software and AADE.
-   ·       Monitors and submits VAT-INTRASTAT-VIES, ΦΜΥ, withheld taxes and other tax returns.
-   ·       Support the process of monthly end closing and the preparation of the monthly Group reporting requirements.
-   ·       Reconciliations for accounts payable, receivables and banks.
-   ·       Preparation and execution of payment plans.
-   ·       Monitoring of vendors’ contracts and proper filing.
-   ·       Managing financial transactions and relevant documentation.
-   ·       Quarterly submission of company’s new contracts to the Greek Tax Authorities.
-   ·       Review the financial systems, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis for further development of efficiencies.
-   ·       Other Ad-hoc activities (i.e. participating in finance projects, ERP development projects, ad hoc analysis etc.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   ·       BSc in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
-   ·       Proven experience working as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, for at least 5 years.
-   ·       Excellent knowledge of local accounting, tax principles.
-   ·       Highly advanced in Microsoft’s tools.
-   ·       Familiarity with ERP environment, (Softone, Navision knowledge is an added advantage).
-   ·       Fluency in English written and verbal communication.
-   ·       Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
