**Job Summary:**

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will design, implement, integrate, support and optimize enterprise Cybersecurity solutions for Algosystems’ customers.

**What You Will Do:** 

The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise across security technologies, customer orientation and the ability to support complex projects and Managed Services environments.

## Requirements

**Job Responsibilities**

-   Design, implement, configure, integrate and troubleshoot enterprise Cybersecurity solutions.
-   Support complex customer environments, projects and Managed Services, ensuring security, availability, performance and SLA compliance.
-   Perform implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, changes and technical problem resolution.
-   Produce and maintain technical documentation, configurations, implementation plans and operational procedures.
-   Act as a senior technical escalation point, supporting engineers and resolving complex security technology issues.
-   Collaborate with architects, project teams, vendors and customers during solution design, implementation and transition to operations.
-   Maintain and continuously develop technical expertise and relevant vendor certifications.

**Qualifications and Work Experience**

-   7+ years of professional experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Security Solutions or related technical roles.
-   Strong hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies such as IAM, PAM, DLP, WAF, EDR/XDR, NDR, SASE/SSE, ZTNA, Email Security and Cloud Security.
-   Strong understanding of security architecture, integration, authentication, access control, data protection and security operations principles.
-   Hands-on experience with Microsoft security solutions, Fortinet security solutions and CyberArk is highly desirable.
-   Experience implementing and supporting security solutions in large and complex enterprise environments.
-   Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple security technologies.
-   Relevant cybersecurity and vendor certifications are highly desirable.
-   University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
-   Good command of English, written and spoken.
